Yakult, the pioneer in probiotic heath drinks, required a new brand website. This aimed to change perceptions of a product surrounded in scientific jargon to one with a simple proposition: healthy behaviours result in a healthy, enjoyable lifestyle.
We redesigned the site so it was visually rich and engaging. At its heart are the key functions of communicating the benefits of incorporating Yakult into your daily routine. Appealing to all age groups, it uses large rich photography mixed with a playful illustrative style to convey Yakult's key message.
The site is also the first FMCG brand to use responsive design techniques, allowing the site to fluidly scale and restructure the content depending on the device it is being viewed upon, extending the reach of its customer base across different devices.
Since the new site launched, monthly visits have increased by 10%, dwell time has increased by 6.3% and crucially, mobile device traffic has gone from 5.5% to 14% (growth of 8.5%).
